Look, I'm gonna be straight with you. Krython Shard wasn't born from some corporate fitness plan or investor pitch. It started in 2015 when I got tired of seeing gyms that were all flash and no substance.
Started training folks in a 800 sq ft warehouse space. No fancy equipment, just kettlebells, heavy bags, and people who wanted real results. Had 12 members that first month - every single one of 'em still trains with us today.
Word spread fast. We outgrew that warehouse and moved to a proper 3,500 sq ft facility. Brought on our first two trainers - both ex-fighters who knew what it meant to push through when everything hurts.
Pandemic hit. Instead of closing down, we adapted. Outdoor sessions, virtual coaching, whatever it took. Our community stuck together because this place means something more than just workouts.
Moved to our current 7,000 sq ft space on Granville. Full combat training area, Olympic lifting platforms, recovery zones. But the vibe? Still the same raw energy from that first warehouse.
Over 400 members strong. 12 specialized coaches. But we haven't lost what made us different - we're still that place where you come to work, not to be entertained.
